Job Summary
Load and log materials, erect scaffolding or ladders, and cut insulation batts to size for installation in exterior walls, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces. Staple, glue, wire, or nail materials, and operate equipment for loose-fill or foamed insulation injection. Drive a company vehicle while adhering to DOT rules and maintain tools. Observe job site safety protocols and know MSDS packet locations. This role involves piece-rate pay of $15.00 to $20.00, a Monday through Saturday schedule, and physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces. A valid driver's license and bilingual ability are plus factors for joining the Big City Insulation, Inc. team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures
