Job Summary
Perform hands-on air sealing and insulation work, including blow-in and dense-pack insulation, while running blower door tests to verify results before and after each job. Check your own work against company, program, and code standards, documenting completed tasks with photos and required sign-offs. Act as crew leader when required, training new technicians on technique and safety, and coordinate with project managers to resolve on-site issues promptly. Invoice completed jobs accurately in Oracle NetSuite and ensure billing matches work performed. Full-time position with an hourly wage of $25.00 - $32.00, paid holidays, and a company vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in air sealing, insulation, weatherization, or building performance work
- Proficiency with blower door testing and diagnostic equipment
- Working knowledge of air sealing, blow-in/dense-pack insulation methods, and home energy efficiency principles
- Takes pride in their craft and stands behind the quality of their own work
- Valid NJ driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable with digital documentation (photos, readings, logs)
- BPI Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, or comparable certification
- Familiarity with PSEG or other NJ utility weatherization program requirements and inspection criteria
- Experience invoicing or job-tracking in Oracle NetSuite (or a comparable ERP/CRM)
- OSHA 10/30, lead-safe (RRP), or other relevant safety credentials
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
