Job Summary
Maintain oceanography instruments and unmanned undersea systems by performing quality control, testing, pre-deployment setup, and physical movement of equipment. Operate forklifts to move and organize inventory in the warehouse while executing logistics documentation and data entry. Repair instruments and unmanned systems, then track and document their status to support global maritime operations. Requires current secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 2+ years of instrumentation maintenance experience. Full-time role at Stennis Space Center, MS, with a salary of 70K-75K.
Required Qualifications
- Current secret clearance or higher
- U.S. Citizenship
- 2+ years' experience with instrumentation maintenance and support
- AS or higher in Electronics Technology or related field
- 5+ years' operational experience in lieu of a degree
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with software maintenance
- Experience with 3M software and wavemeters
- Forklift experience and certification
