Job Summary
Perform scheduled calibration, corrective maintenance, and repair activities on equipment and systems across the Rhode Island site, strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and cGMPs. Troubleshoot and repair equipment while ensuring work is appropriately communicated to system operators and key stakeholders. Complete work order documentation accurately and identify waste or workflow interrupters to recommend and assist with implementing improvement solutions. Work a rotating 12-hour night shift (7PM-7AM) including nights, weekends, and holidays, with an initial administrative onboarding phase. This role supports Amgen's mission to serve patients living with serious illnesses through the research, manufacture, and delivery of innovative medicines in oncology, inflammation, general medicine, and rare disease areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- 1 year of Maintenance or military experience
- Associates degree
