Job Summary
Perform maintenance, repairs, installation, and commissioning of various electronic control systems, including system administration for the site Foxboro DCS. Install and test instrumentation devices while conducting hardware and software maintenance, monitoring, and reporting. Execute on-site preventive maintenance tasks such as system backups, software patches, hardware cleaning, and visual inspections with recommendations and reports. Troubleshoot problems during installation and after project completion to support product services. Requires a minimum 2-year diploma with 3 years of industrial experience and strong knowledge of PLCs and DCS systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-year diploma as an Instrumentation Technician
- 3 year's experience in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of controls systems such as PLC's (Modicon) and DCS (Foxboro)
- Complete or have recently completed CAAT and DAT testing in a satisfactory manner
