Job Summary
Instrumentation Technician role in Minneapolis, MN combining field service and panel shop support. Responsibilities include instrumentation start-up, calibration, troubleshooting, and control system support for industrial projects; perform electrical and mechanical equipment modifications in the field; build and test UL508A control panels in the shop; travel to customer sites; maintain strong client relationships and professional interaction with customers; read/red-line P&IDs and control loop diagrams; work with PLCs, motor controls, and networking equipment; qualify with two years of instrumentation/industrial controls experience; associate degree or journeyman electrician background encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of industrial controls or instrumentation experience
- Technical associate degree or journeyman electrician background encouraged
- Valid driver’s license
- Read and red-line P&IDs, control loop, and panel drawings
- Experience with PLC systems
- Experience with flow, pressure, temperature, vibration, and analytical instrumentation
- Microsoft Office proficiency
