Instrumentation Foreman

Job Summary
Lead instrumentation crews on construction projects; supervise, coordinate, and support instrumentation work to ensure safe, efficient execution and compliance with project specifications; plan daily activities, manpower, and materials to meet schedules; install, test, calibrate, commission, and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation and control systems; read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical docs; coordinate with project management, engineering, operations, maintenance, and subcontractors; monitor quality and safety, conduct field-level hazard assessments, and uphold company policies; mentor apprentices and journeypersons to support workforce development; track progress, document work, and communicate project status and resources; support start-ups, shutdowns, commissioning activities, and maintenance programs; ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and assets; perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Instrumentation Technician certification required
- Red Seal certification preferred
- Valid H2S Alive
- Fall Protection
- Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED)
- CSTS 2020
- Experience in industrial construction, maintenance, or turnaround environments
- Experience with PLCs, DCS, HMI, transmitters, analyzers, control valves, and instrumentation
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and technical specifications
