Job Summary
Instrumentation Engineer II for WindWright to support instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems development for a wind tunnel. Responsibilities include selecting, configuring, and installing sensors and data acquisition systems; developing data acquisition software and hardware solutions; maintaining accuracy through sensor calibrations; creating instrumentation wiring diagrams; bench-testing instrumentation system functionality; identifying requirements, constraints, and risks; and supporting government proposals. Requires proficiency with sensors and DAQ systems, calibration methodologies, CAD tools, and instrumentation/software languages (C, LabVIEW, Simulink, VxWorks, or similar); ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; willingness to travel; and US Person eligibility. Relocation to the Sandusky, OH area is available; 9/80 schedule and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering, sensor selection, and data acquisition
- Proficiency in sensor technologies and data acquisition systems
- Strong understanding of calibration procedures and instrumentation testing methodologies
- Ability to obtain a security clearance at the TS/SCI level
- Experience with CAD software tools
- Instrumentation and controls software languages (C, LabVIEW, Simulink, VxWorks, or similar)
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
