Job Summary
Instrumentation & Electrical Technician at POET responsible for troubleshooting and identifying root-cause issues, repairing or replacing parts and rewiring and installing related instrument/electrical goods at the bioprocessing facility. Ensure work complies with electrical codes, test and inspect issues, review electrical procedures, assist in developing electrical programs, and train team members. Role requires 24/7 availability, on-site work in Hudson, SD, and ability to meet call-in requirements. Calibrate and repair measurement/control instruments (flow, level, pressure, temperature, pH) and associated valves/actuators; work with PLC/DCS I/O; maintain inventories; document activities; collaborate with management; adhere to safety and environmental standards. Qualifications include an associate degree in electrical training; licensure (Journeyman/Master) preferred; strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills; ability to work in various environments and lift/carry requirements; drug screening and safety protocols apply.
