Job Summary
Supervise "B" electrical technicians and I&E techs for safe and efficient operations while troubleshooting breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and executing repairs. Maintain electrical/instrumentation equipment across the entire facility, build panels from drawings, and troubleshoot Omni/PLC systems and HMI software. Assist Lead Operators with all electrical activities including safety and compliance regulations, manage inventory of parts and supplies, and participate in all announce/unannounced inspections such as BSEE. Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including NFPA 70E Arc Flash protection and detailed work permits. Work a 14x14 schedule at a terminal in Houma, LA, with no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 5 years of instrumentation and electrical experience
- Must be able to troubleshoot problems with Omni/PLC system and HMI software
- Must be able to build panels from drawings and troubleshoot Omni

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 10 years' offshore I&E experience on a production platform
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw a valid conclusion
- Experience maintaining and installing 15KV and below electrical systems
- Experience maintaining and installing programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)/Distributed control systems (DCS)
- Experience with NFPA 70E Arc Flash protection regulations
- Experience in safe design and installation of tubing systems up to 15KPSI
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
- Basic knowledge of Hydraulic systems
