Job Summary
Instrumentation & Electrical Field Technician role supporting automated water transfer systems in the field; responsibilities include setting up and rigging automation equipment, diagnosing and repairing sensors/valves/controls, configuring devices with diagnostics software, responding to field service calls, client interaction onsite, reporting and safety documentation, and regional travel with possible overnight stays; requires 1+ year oil & gas or related industrial experience, electrical wiring/electronics/instrumentation experience, familiarity with multimeters and basic networking, strong problem-solving/time-management, ability to work independently and with a team, valid driver’s license, and safety-first mindset. Field-based, full-time with potential 12-hour shifts; outdoor work in all weather.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of oil & gas or relevant industrial experience
- Experience with electrical wiring, electronics, or instrumentation
- Familiarity with multimeters, computers, and basic networking
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
- Positive, safety-first mindset with a desire to grow and learn
