Job Summary
Oversee large-scale Instrumentation and Electrical construction activities for a chemical plant client, serving as the primary on-site leader to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Supervise field construction teams and coordinate subcontractors to maintain productivity while enforcing compliance with industrial safety standards and company policies. Manage project timelines using Primavera P6, monitor progress through scheduling tools, and support the project controls team on change orders and RFIs. Ensure proper documentation, Safe Work Permits, and adherence to quality assurance plans, while resolving construction disputes and assisting in bid document preparation. Requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management and experience with technical drawings and Loop Drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Proven experience in construction supervision or project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and industrial safety practices
- Working knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical construction practices
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, Loop Drawings, Electrical Schematics
- Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a large capital project environment
