Job Summary
Design instrumentation systems, select materials, and prepare process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), loop drawings, and technical specifications for oil and gas projects. Supervise EPC contractors, approve engineering content, and ensure all installations comply with industry standards such as ISA, IEC, and NEC. Evaluate safety system designs, collaborate on HAZOP and SIL analysis, and oversee inspection, installation, and testing of control and electrical equipment. Requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Smart Plant Instrumentation, and Smart Plant 3D. Salary range $85,000 - $125,000.
Required Qualifications
- Familiar with EP, EPC and EPCM project structure
- Knowledge of codes and standards, related to instrumentation and control systems, such as ISA, IEC, and NEC
- Technical diploma in Industrial Instrumentation or greater
- Proficient in Autocad
- Proficient in Smart Plant Instrumentation
- Proficient in Smart Plant 3D
- Experience in electrical and telecom
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
