Job Summary
Design UL508A/UL698-compliant industrial control panels; select instrumentation and hardware to meet project requirements; prepare design documentation and technical submittals for customer approval; develop operation and maintenance manuals for completed systems; collaborate with drafting teams to produce complete electrical designs; support engineering teams with project specifications, estimates, and proposals; maintain or obtain certification as a UL Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR); requires experience with electrical control systems, instrumentation, and AutoCAD Electrical; travel to project sites with a valid driver’s license; growth toward Senior Engineer/Systems Architect roles.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with electrical control systems or integrated industrial processes
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement technologies
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or the ability to quickly become proficient
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites when required
