Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control systems within the plant, including 480 VAC motor control systems, field instrumentation, programmable controllers, and lighting. Perform hands-on maintenance using Volt/Ohm meters, meggers, and Rockwell Software tools for PLC/HMI troubleshooting and minor program changes. Lead proactive maintenance planning to ensure equipment availability and cost-effectiveness while collaborating with engineering, production, and external contractors on new installations and modifications. Support HSEQ programs, prepare for MSHA inspections, and assist with process data acquisition via Factory Talk Historian.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical school certificate/degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance or related field
  • Three to five years' experience in overall plant maintenance
  • State electrical license
  • OSHA or MSHA electrical certification
  • other formal training or electrical certification
  • ISA instrumentation certification
  • Significant demonstrable knowledge and experience in the area of plant instrumentation, electrical systems and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment wiring diagrams
  • Ability to read and interpret piping and instrument diagrams
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees and the general public
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Developed computer skills needed for calibration programs and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Desired Qualifications

  • Master Electrician and/or Journeyman license
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain one of the following: State electrical license OSHA or MSHA electrical certification, or other formal training or electrical certification or ISA instrumentation certification
