Job Summary
Perform calibrations for bioreactors, utilities, formulation, and aseptic areas within pharmaceutical and biotechnology environments. Manage the calibration program using systems like Blue Mountain (RAM), Calman, or Procal. Evaluate process instrumentation and calculate tolerances for temperature, pressure, humidity, flow, mass, pH, conductivity, dimension, and electrical parameters. Apply cGMP knowledge and maintain equipment while working in conditions that may include fumes, odors, and heights up to 50 pounds. Schedule runs Tuesday to Saturday from 9pm to 5:30am or 8am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing calibrations in Pharmaceutical Industry Environment
- Strong Knowledge in tolerance calculation
- Experience in Calibration system assessment
- Strong knowledge in process tolerance evaluation
- Process Instrumentation/ Calibration to manage calibration program
- Experience performing calibrations to Bioreactors, Utilities, Formulation, Aseptic Areas
- Must possess experience in: Temperature
- Must possess experience in: Technologies
- Must possess experience in: Pressure
- Must possess experience in: Humidity
- Must possess experience in: Flow
- Must possess experience in: Mass
- Must possess experience in: PH
- Must possess experience in: Conductivity
- Must possess experience in: Dimension and Electrical
- Knowledge in cGMP
- Associate degree in Instrumentation Engineering
- AD, Instrumentation Technology, and or Electronics
- AD, Tecnología de Instrumentación y / o Electrónica
- Available for the following working hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 9pm to 5:30am
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipments, tools, or controls
- Must be able to stand, walk, talk, or hear
- Must be able to sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to smell
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25-35 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to frequently work inside weather conditions
- Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work exposed to wet and or humid conditions
- Must be able to work in an odorous atmosphere
- Must be able to be exposed to fumes
- Must be able to be exposed to the risk of electrical shock
- Must be able to occasionally work on ladders in high places
- Must be able to work in small spaces, such as lift/metering stations, manholes, tanks and wet wells
- Must be able to work in a moderately loud noise level
- Must be able to work 8am-5pm
Desired Qualifications
- Biotechnology preferred
- Experience in Blue Mountain (RAM), Calman, or Procal Software is highly preferred
