Job Summary
Provide technical direction for the design, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation and control systems across distributed/process control environments. Lead maintenance, calibration, and upgrades of control systems; ensure compliance with Technical Standards and NERC CIP; manage alarm management initiatives; collaborate with Operations, System Owners/Engineers, and plant subcommittees; travel between Barry CC, Theodore Co-gen, and Washington County Co-gen assets; be the technology owner for I&C equipment with budgetary input and ongoing skill development for craft personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree, two-year technical certification, or associate degree in electronics (or equivalent experience) is required
- Minimum five years of experience in electronics, instrumentation, program configuration, distributed/process control systems, PLCs, DCS, plant electrical maintenance is required
- Must be available for call-out responsibilities on a 24-hour basis
