Job Summary
Instrumentation and Controls Technician Lead serves as the on-site technical lead for electrical, instrumentation, and control system activities on Gas Turbine Generator packages. Provides advanced diagnostics, inspections, calibrations, and guidance to technicians; reviews work for standards compliance; coordinates daily workflow; mentors junior staff; collaborates with engineering and quality teams; and maintains detailed testing, calibration, and system configuration documentation. Requires hands-on leadership in electrical/instrumentation/control tasks, experience with AC/DC systems, VFDs, PLCs, and process instrumentation (RTDs, thermocouples, transmitters); strong communication and safety discipline; willing to travel to project sites; and a background check and pre-employment screenings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required, college and/or technical education preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in instrumentation, electrical, or gas turbine related roles.
- Strong experience troubleshooting turbine or power system electrical and control systems required.
