Job Summary
Install, terminate, and test instrumentation and control wiring, panels, and devices while bending and running conduit throughout industrial plants. Assist with calibration and commissioning of instruments for flow, level, pressure, and temperature, and operate and troubleshoot VFDs and PLCs. Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics to support startup activities. Perform routine maintenance, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, and document work via redlines and field reports. Maintain tools and a clean work environment. Full-time role in Naples, FL with statewide travel.
Required Qualifications
- 1–5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls and electrical
- Experience bending and running conduit in various sizes (and out of various materials)
- Basic understanding of industrial control systems and instrumentation and the national electrical code
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics (electrical and mechanical)
- Experience with installation and termination of low-voltage and control wiring
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel throughout Florida and work in outdoor/industrial environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in water/wastewater, utilities, substations, or industrial facilities
- Knowledge of SCADA systems
- Instrument calibration experience
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Experience with medium voltage switchgear
