Job Summary
Instrumentation Account Manager to own and grow a book of business in Southwest Florida (Sarasota/ Fort Myers region) for instrumentation brands, providing products, services, and engineered solutions. Responsibilities include building an annual business plan to meet bookings and margin targets; creating and prioritizing account pipelines for instrumentation, service agreements, and large CAPEX projects; acting as trusted advisor to operations leaders, process engineers, and procurement teams; leading business reviews; coordinating with internal teams to scope, propose, and close multi-stakeholder projects; providing preliminary engineering guidance and ROI analyses to secure vendor status; maintaining accurate opportunity data in HubSpot/Salesforce for forecasts; analyzing win/loss trends and proposing corrective actions; coordinating with service/operations/inside sales for post-sale support; and traveling approximately 50% within Southwest Florida with occasional trips to corporate HQ or manufacturer sites. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field (preferred), a proven track record of beating annual targets and ranking in the top quartile, experience negotiating multi-year agreements and managing project lifecycles, proficiency with CRM-driven selling (HubSpot/Salesforce) and data-driven forecasting, and a valid driver’s license (TWIC badge ability for refinery access).
