Job Summary

Cut and remove brush for line-of-sight, perform mathematical calculations and field checking of survey data, and dig ground with hand tools to locate monuments. Read and understand plans, hold and plum rod for elevations, drive stakes to set grades, and operate surveying instruments while demonstrating safe working methods. Provide quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Work Mon-Sat from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with hours varying by location and department to meet project objectives. Travel to assigned worksites is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be experienced in controlling the function of surveying instruments and calculators
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Travel to worksites may be required
  • This position is subject to initial and random Drug and Alcohol programs as directed by Company Policy
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Must have close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to concentrate
