Job Summary
Monitor process equipment and control parameters to ensure safe, efficient operation. Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate conventional instrumentation including DCS, PLC, and Analyzers. Complete daily preventive maintenance work orders, update equipment status, and provide root-cause diagnoses for failures. Perform daily route checks, execute work assignments with quality workmanship, and conduct daily audits for compliance with THM, NVP, and NTG requirements. Work outside normal shift hours and respond to on-call rotations as needed. Maintain regular attendance while adhering to all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in Instrumentation or Electronics
- Valid Driver's License
- TWIC –Transportation Workers Identification Card
- Problem-solving mindset
- Troubleshooting and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
- Preventive maintenance knowledge
- Familiar with test equipment, multimeters, communicators, various hand tools, etc.
- Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other software
- Hands-on experience with loop checks, field commissioning, start-up support, and site troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems
- Work outside normal shift hours
- Work on call as needed
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Comply with THM, NVP, and NTG requirements
- Complete daily audits on a daily basis
- Be active in Operation Clean Sweep
- Ensure employees are aware of and accountable for pellet loss prevention, containment, cleanup and disposal
- TWIC –Transportation Workers Identification Card for duration of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or Two (2) years' experience (PLC, Analyzer & DCS experience preferred)
- PLC, Analyzer & DCS experience preferred
