Job Summary
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation and lab equipment while executing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure compliance. Accurately document all work activities and time in SAP, following written procedures and verbal instructions while adhering to safety, quality, and cGMP standards. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, and operations to respond to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requests. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to ESHS protocols and PPE requirements. Participate in required training and demonstrate continuous improvement in job performance. This role is part of a multi-skilled team within Central Maintenance at Tippecanoe Laboratories, supporting capital and maintenance efforts to maximize equipment uptime.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of industrial instrumentation experience
- Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or applicable technical training
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturer service manuals
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and with a diverse customer base
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent planning, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physically able to work in confined spaces
- Physically able to work at heights
- Physically able to work in varying environmental conditions (hot or cold conditions)
