Instrument Technician -Austin Industrial (Spring, TX)

Instrument Technician: Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and replace process instruments as part of the facility's maintenance program. Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and ladder diagrams; work with electrical and PLC systems; perform field calibration of transmitters, controllers, transducers, valves, and recorders; verify instrument performance and conduct loop checks. Requires high school diploma or GED, NCCER certification, State Electrical License, and 3-5 years journeyman experience; knowledge of electrical OSHA rules and electrical testing tools (VOM, meter, insulation tester).
