Job Summary
Instrument Technical Sales Specialist responsible for driving instrument revenue growth by providing technical leadership across the sales cycle, leading technical discovery and compelling demonstrations, translating customer challenges into differentiated solutions, and partnering with Account Managers to shape winning opportunity strategies; role requires the ability to translate complex workflows into customer value, articulate differentiated value in competitive situations, collaborate across Applications Scientists, Service, Marketing and Product teams, and travel within the territory (up to ~50-60%) to engage with customers and accelerate decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related scientific field
- Experience in technical sales, applications, laboratory, or scientific roles
- Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into customer value
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory (up to 50-60%)
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes
