Job Summary
Assist the survey crew chief with chaining, measuring, setting forward stationing, data collection, and photographing the survey as directed. Perform instrument work using a plumb bob or prism rod, clearing brush and small limbs to obtain line of sight readings. Unload and deploy equipment and materials, including setup and breakdown, while ensuring equipment care, cleaning, and general maintenance. Assist with office survey duties such as data entry, filing, copying, and recordkeeping. Keep consumables like stakes, nails, flagging, monuments, and marker paint stocked. Requires a high school diploma or GED, minimum two years of relevant work experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Highschool Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to maintain required certifications
