Job Summary
Land Survey Instrument Operator/Survey Assistant supporting field survey crews with the Crew Chief, operating field survey equipment (total stations, GPS), collecting and recording data, setting stakes, and maintaining equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, safety, regulatory compliance, and quality of work; physically mobile on construction sites; travel 3-4 weeks at a time with a per diem of $205 and long hours (75-85 per week). Requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED; 3-4 years of field operations experience with survey equipment. Location: Lansdale, PA (US).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three (3) to four (4) years of progressive experience in land survey field operations
- Proficiency in land survey equipment (total stations) and GPS
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history
