Job Summary
Instrument Operator/Survey Assistant to support field survey crew under the Crew Chief. Responsibilities include operating field survey equipment, collecting accurate data, recording precise survey notes with a data collector, setting stakes and obstructions, maintaining safety and equipment, and adhering to Safety, Quality Management, and Equipment Maintenance policies. Must be physically mobile on varied terrain, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and travel to work sites. Requires high school diploma or GED and 3–4 years of land survey experience with total stations and GPS; must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three to four years of progressive experience in land survey field operations and proficiency with land survey equipment (total stations) and GPS
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history
