Job Summary
Land Survey Instrument Operator will assist the Crew Chief in field surveying operations, operate survey equipment (total stations and GPS), and collect data using a data collector. Responsibilities include recording accurate surveying notes, setting wooden stakes and iron rods, maintaining safety and equipment, carrying survey gear, lifting up to 50 pounds, and traveling to various field sites. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–4 years of field operations experience with land survey equipment. Valid driver’s license and clean driving history are required. This is a contract-to-hire role with typical hours ranging from 40 to 60 per week, in Sartell, MN.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Three (3) to four (4) years of progressive experience in land survey field operations, with proficiency in land survey equipment (total stations) and GPS, is required.
