Job Summary
Instrument Operator/Survey Assistant to support field survey crews, operate surveying equipment, set stakes, record accurate field data and notes, maintain equipment and safety practices, travel for extended periods, and comply with safety/quality policies. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to carry survey gear and work across rugged sites; strong attention to data collection, note-taking, and regulatory compliance is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with land survey equipment (total stations) and GPS (GPS proficiency preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history
- Ability to physically operate in field environments and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience or interest in field surveying (preferred 1-2 years)
