Instrument Operator

Instrument Operator responsible for operating and maintaining survey equipment under Party Chief guidance; duties include assisting with daily operations, loading and securing equipment, field data collection and notes, equipment maintenance, and mentoring junior team members. Required skills include strong verbal/written communication, at least 1 year as a Rod person, land navigation and map reading, ability to work solo or in a small team, and physical endurance to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather. Preferred: AutoCAD experience, Carlson plugin, FAA Part 107 certification, and familiarity with Leica robotic total station and GNSS.
