Instrument Operator

Operate automated milk-testing equipment including setup, calibration testing, shutdown, repair, and maintenance; maintain supplies and parts for preventive and routine maintenance; record problems and repairs in logs; prepare buffer solutions and dyes; maintain activity reports and calibrations; communicate with customers as needed; stay current on lab methods, procedures, and certifications; observe safety procedures and use PPE; multitask in a fast-paced environment and/or work overtime as needed.
