Job Summary
Install, calibrate, configure, program, modify, diagnose, and repair control valves, electronic, computerized, and electro-mechanical equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on distributed control systems, continuous emission monitoring systems, and associated instrumentation to ensure safe, reliable plant operations. Troubleshoot automated control systems and computer workstations while working with a wide variety of instruments including transmitters, analyzers, and pressure transducers. Document maintenance activities, equipment history, and technical drawings to track reliability and support continuous improvement projects. Provide daily support to maintain 24/7 operations, including overtime and off-hours call-out support when required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of troubleshooting as an instrumentation technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- education level of Associates Degree in Instrumentation
Desired Qualifications
- Instrumentation Certification
- 5 years of troubleshooting as an instrumentation technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Experian systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience wearing Personal Protective Equipment (Fire retardant clothing)
