Job Summary
Optimize I&C systems for safe, stable, and efficient process control through loop tuning, alarm management, and SIS performance monitoring. Identify production vulnerabilities and lead root cause investigations for process safety incidents, production losses, and quality issues exceeding limits. Provide immediate front-line support to Operations and Maintenance teams to resolve minor issues and escalate significant problems to the Central Engineering Team. Prioritize I&C vulnerabilities based on risk and production impact to focus corrective actions on highest-priority issues. Lead Continuous Improvement projects involving instrumentation, automation, and control systems to drive site-wide improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Above 10 Years experience in O&G industry
- Technical degree in Engineering or relevant engineering subject
- Experience in previous asset engineering / operations engineering role
- Practical exposure to production facilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
- Strong bias for being proactive and getting results
- Excellent IT skills – Office suite, document management, applications for CMMS and Change Management
- Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results
- Skilled in behaviour change management
Desired Qualifications
- Professional (Chartered) Engineer
- Experience in roles in culturally and linguistically diverse working environments
- Certified Professional Engineer
