Job Summary
Instrument & Controls Commissioning Technician responsible for commissioning and startup of RNG plants and landfill gas-to-energy projects, including FAT work, I/O verification, valve actuator tuning, PLC/DCS/SCADA/HMI setup, process networks, VPN, plant historians, and drawing updates. Requires extensive travel (up to 75%+), strong safety adherence (LOTO, PPE, hot work), and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Preferred familiarity with Rockwell Studio5000, HART, iFIX, and reading P&IDs; must be able to read drawings, configure and troubleshoot control systems, and support performance testing. Role may be offered by Neogenyx Fuels LLC but posted via Ameresco and requires applying to Neogenyx Fuels LLC.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a controls-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in instrumentation and controls commissioning
- Demonstrated experience in natural gas or power generation projects
