Job Summary
Instrument Control Panel Technician responsible for building industrial control panels, reading schematics/diagrams for component installation, testing and troubleshooting with a meter, and gaining knowledge of UL 508A standards, NEC, and wire types/sizes. Role requires basic math and use of hand tools; attention to detail, teamwork, dependability, and ability to work overtime/weekends. Full-time, in-person position based in Salt Lake City, UT; reports to Production Supervisor and supports development of prefabricated electrical assemblies for data center and related facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in all types of measuring tools as required
- Proficient in using computers to obtain and document information
- Strong reading comprehension, attention to detail and organized
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs to 100lbs
- Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in basic math (algebra)
