Job Summary
Deliver resident instruction for ARNG financial management and USPFO-related courses at the Professional Education Center, training Army National Guard Soldiers and civilian personnel in budget, accounting, travel management, disbursing, and financial systems. Lead lectures, discussions, and scenario-based exercises; assess student performance; maintain instructional materials reflecting current DoD, Army, and ARNG policies; integrate systems such as GFEBS, DTS, DDS, and OTCnet; provide subject matter expertise on DoD FMR and JTR; support accreditation and curriculum development; travel as needed to deliver instruction.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Secret security clearance
- ability to travel occasionally
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Preferred)
- Experience in government financial management, accounting, budgeting, disbursing, travel management, or related fields
- Knowledge of DoD/Army financial regulations, policies, and procedures
- Experience with financial systems such as GFEBS, DTS, DDS, OTCnet
- Ability to instruct/train/mentor personnel in financial management concepts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CGFM, CDFM) (Preferred)
- Experience within Army National Guard USPFO or Comptroller operations (Preferred)
