Job Summary
Duties and responsibilities include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty). Qualifications required: PhD in Environmental Sustainability or a related discipline with transdisciplinary orientation; extensive expertise in contemporary methods of environmental inquiry evidenced by research experience and publishing, including TCPS 2; research designs; quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques; and transdisciplinary research; specialization or prior teaching experience in fields related to the course; demonstrated success in university teaching; demonstrated research in related fields. Required Qualifications
- PhD in Environmental Sustainability or a related discipline with transdisciplinary orientation
- Extensive expertise in contemporary methods of environmental inquiry as evidenced by research experience and publishing, including research philosophies, research ethics (TCPS 2), TCPS 2; research designs; quantitative analysis techniques; qualitative analysis techniques; and transdisciplinary research
- Specialization or prior teaching experience in fields of study related to the course
- Demonstrated success in university teaching
- Demonstrated research in fields of study related to the course
