Job Summary
Deliver private and semi-private tennis lessons tailored to individual player goals, developing customized lesson plans focusing on technique, footwork, strategy, and match play. Assess player performance to track progress while maintaining a safe, organized court environment and delivering a high-energy, professional coaching experience. Build strong client relationships to encourage retention and referrals, occasionally assisting with clinics, camps, and Park & Rec youth and adult lessons. Work weekends and weekday evenings, 15-20 hours weekly, with rates of $58.50/hr for private lessons and $29.30-$42/hr for Park & Rec. Submit to a consumer investigative report and undergo health screening. RSPA/PTR certification and four years of teaching experience required.
Required Qualifications
- RSPA / PTR Certified Professional
- Minimum 4 years teaching/ player development experience
- A strong track record of teaching excellence
- Demonstrated ability to retain and attract students of all ages/abilities
- A great on-court presence with an understanding of modern fundamentals and development progressions
- Punctual, professional and positive with a strong work ethic
- The ability to connect to a diverse range of ages and levels
- A positive presence with a focus on safety, and customer service
- Submission to a consumer investigative report
- Health screening
