Instructor - Primary/Acute/or Dual trained Advance Practice Professional

Manage infusion and transfusion services for pediatric patients across hematology-oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and other subspecialties, including pre-infusion office visits and administration of chemotherapy, iron, IV IgG, and blood products. Treat infusion and transfusion reactions, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and handle acute clinical issues like anaphylaxis while ensuring all provider orders are complete. Provide health teaching focused on illness prevention and refer patients as necessary. Collaborate with nursing staff, attendings, and residents to optimize patient safety, volumes, and clinical workflows. Deliver clinical education to fellows, residents, and students, offering formal and informal feedback on their development. Engage in quality improvement, research, and advocacy, including scholarly activities, grant-supported work, and presentations. Attend faculty meetings and relevant conferences as assigned.
