Instructor, Pre-Employment Training Specialist (Contract) Lumpkin County

Job Summary
Develop and deliver the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) curriculum to students aged 14-21 in school settings, covering job exploration counseling, work-based learning, and workplace readiness training. Oversee service delivery from referral to exit while creating comprehensive program guides, timelines, and tailored lesson plans. Coordinate with referral sources, schools, and parent advisory groups to implement the program, manage classroom environments, and arrange site visits. Track performance metrics, compile weekly and monthly status reports, and assist with GROW program activities across summer, fall, and spring. Work with the Manager of Youth Services to schedule team members for supervision and teaching support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in special education, rehabilitation, sociology, behavioral sciences, business administration, or a related field
- 2 years' experience in vocational rehabilitation or a teaching role
- Experience teaching or delivering career/work readiness to individuals with disabilities
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Between multiple school locations within the community
