Instructor, Pre-Employment Training Specialist (Contract) Clarke County

Job Summary
Develop and implement lesson plans for pre-vocational skills curriculum, including job exploration counseling and workplace readiness training, for students aged 14-21 in school settings. Oversee service delivery from referral to exit while creating program guides and timelines. Coordinate with referral sources, schools, and parent advisory groups to plan activities, arrange class schedules, and conduct site visits. Supervise classroom environments and deliver GROW program activities across summer, fall, and spring. Track performance metrics, generate weekly and monthly status reports, and collaborate with the Manager of Youth Services to manage team scheduling. Travel between multiple school locations within the community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in special education, rehabilitation, sociology, behavioral sciences, business administration, or a related field
- 2 years' experience in vocational rehabilitation or a teaching role
- Experience teaching or delivering career/work readiness to individuals with disabilities
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Between multiple school locations within the community
