Instructor, Pre-Employment Training Specialist (Contract) Barrow County

Job Summary
Develop and implement the Pre-Employment Transition Services curriculum for students aged 14-21 across school settings, covering job exploration counseling, work-based learning, and workplace readiness training. Oversee service delivery from referral to exit while creating program guides, lesson plans, and timelines. Coordinate with schools, parents, and referral sources to arrange site visits and class schedules, then supervise classroom instruction and manage team members. Track performance metrics, compile weekly and monthly status reports, and assist with GROW program activities. This in-person role requires travel between multiple school locations within the community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in special education, rehabilitation, sociology, behavioral sciences, business administration, or a related field
- 2 years' experience in vocational rehabilitation or a teaching role
- Experience teaching or delivering career/work readiness to individuals with disabilities
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Between multiple school locations within the community
