Instructor, Practical Nursing

Evening, full-time Practical Nursing Instructor role focused on educating and training students for workplace entry and further education. Responsibilities include managing the classroom to maintain an optimal learning environment, planning and organizing instructional materials and lesson plans, instructing students in competency-based curriculum across classroom, lab, and clinical settings, evaluating student progress, providing academic and behavioral counseling, collaborating with administration and student services to support retention and program completion, maintaining attendance and academic records, handling district paperwork, developing industry contacts and advisory involvement to keep curriculum aligned with job-market needs, supporting campus projects, pursuing ongoing professional development, and performing other assigned duties as needed. Requirements include RN license in Oklahoma, at least two years of recent RN experience, CPR certification, valid Oklahoma driver’s license, an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with progress toward a BSN, and preferred MS in Nursing; bilingual is a plus. Salary range is $66,563 to $82,043 annually, with additional compensation for salary in-lieu of dependent benefits; 12-month instructor position with evening shift and exempt status.
