Job Summary
Conduct instruction for Air Force Special Operations Command units at Kadena AFB, Japan, covering written examinations, flight evaluations, and proficiency standards for preparatory, initial, transition, and upgrade qualification courses. Ensure syllabi tasks are 100% complete within specified lesson times and manage the Aircrew Graduate Evaluation Program per Air Force Instructions. Deliver instruction on air traffic control services, Federal Aviation Administration Order 7110.65, and international manuals for OCONUS locations. Support the AFSOC Instrument Refresher Course, Crew Resource Management Course, Night Vision Devices training, and cryptographic radio device instruction using qualified aircrew instructors. Participate in the Critique Program to suggest changes and mitigations. Requires a valid Secret Clearance and five years of AFSOC aircrew experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Secret Clearance
- Minimum of five 5 years AFSOC aircrew experience
- Instructor certified in the proposed MDS and current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous two years
- Formerly instructor certified (in the proposed U.S. military MDS aircraft) within the previous four (4) years if the candidate performed eight (8) years of military operational flying duty and at least two (2) years or 200 hours experience as an inflight instructor in the proposed MDS and associated mission sets
