Job Summary
The position serves as a medical educator at the Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC), responsible for providing instruction in EMT, Tactical Casualty Combat Care, and medical evacuation. Key activities include operating Human Patient Simulators, conducting research for simulation exercises, developing and revising training programs, and maintaining classroom techniques. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with relevant experience, EMT certification, and instructor experience, along with strong communication and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience
- Associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience
- Major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience
- 11 years of recent specialized experience
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) National Registry Number
- Current NREMT certification (any level)
- Instructor experience (minimum of 2 years within the past 5 years)
- Basic Life Support, Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification
- Instructor certification as required by MSTC site
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Active/valid US security clearance
