Instructor of Low Strings

Instructor of Low Strings duties include teaching applied cello and applied double bass, instructing string methods, performing as cellist/double bassist in faculty ensembles, supporting activities within the string area and University Orchestra, participating in recruitment, and taking part in end-of-semester juried exams. Candidates must hold a Master of Music degree in Cello Performance, Double Bass Performance, or String Pedagogy. The position is a 9-month, non-tenure track faculty appointment with renewable contracts; responsibilities also include contributing to recruitment and related departmental activities.
