Job Summary
Teach Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) courses at FAU's Boca Raton campus, including first-year composition and interpretation of literature; contribute to the General Education Curriculum in Communication and Humanities; maintain a 4/4 course load and comply with all state/university/program requirements; responsibilities may include first-year composition, literature courses, and other WAC offerings; qualified candidates will hold an MA, MFA, or PhD in English, Rhetoric & Composition, or related field (or MFA in Creative Writing) by August 8, 2026; teaching experience with WAC and written communication is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- MA or PhD in English, Rhetoric & Composition, or related field, or MFA in Creative Writing at the time of appointment
- two years of post-secondary teaching experience (preferred)
