Job Summary
Part-time, non-tenure-track Instructor of English to teach 1-3 classes during Fall 2026 at Ball State University. The role requires a Master’s degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or related field and at least one year of college-level teaching experience; ABD or terminal degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or related field is preferred. Duties include teaching 1-3 Fall 2026 classes in the award-winning writing program and supporting course goals for first-year writing. Applicants will upload a syllabus, provide transcripts, submit a cover letter, CV/Resume, and three references, and must pass background check and education verification. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment
