Job Summary
Teach Spanish courses in traditional, blended, and online formats while advising students academically and recruiting them into majors. Recommend semester course offerings, develop and assess degree programs, and maintain course learning management systems. Serve on College committees, review and revise department catalog content, and utilize current instructional technologies. Adhere to established policies and deadlines while participating in all required Faculty, Department, School, and College meetings.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience teaching at the collegiate level
- Teach Spanish courses in traditional (in-person), blended, and online formats
- Advise students academically
- Recruit and retain students to majors within the School
- Recommend courses to be offered in the department each semester
- Adhere to College policies and procedures
- Develop and assess degree programs and student learning outcomes
- Serve on College committees
- Maintain course learning management systems
- Review and revise Department catalog content
- Utilize and remain current with the College's instructional technologies
- Participate in all required Faculty, Department, School, and College meetings
